حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُضَحَّى بِمُقَابَلَةٍ وَلَا مُدَابَرَةٍ وَلَا شَرْقَاءَ وَلَا خَرْقَاءَ وَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَشْرِفَ الْعَيْنَ وَالْأُذُنَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "No sacrifice is to be made of an animal with its front or back part of its ears cut off (muqābalah or mudābarah), nor one with a split ear (sharqāʾ), nor one with a pierced ear (khirqāʾ). And the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded us to examine the eye and the ear."
