حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبُرْجُلَانِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
«أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟» قُلْنَا نَعَمْ فَقَامَ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَوَضَعَ رَاحَتَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ أَصَابِعَهُ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَجَافَى إِبْطَيْهِ حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَقَرَّ مِنْهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَكَانَهُ رَفَعَ حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ سَجَدَ فَوَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَجَافَى بَيْنَ إِبْطَيْهِ وَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ عَادَ فَصَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِنَا»

✧ "Shall I pray with you the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ?" We said: Yes. He stood up and said takbīr, then bowed, placing his palms on his knees and making his fingers below his knees, and kept his upper arms away from his sides until every part of him settled in its place. Then he raised until every part of him settled. He prostrated, placing his palms on the ground and keeping his upper arms away from his sides, and raised his head until every part of him settled. He returned and did the same for four rakʿahs, then said: "Thus I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ pray with us."
