حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ
«تُوُفِّيَ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِي زَمَنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ»
