حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ جُذَامٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَدِيٌّ
أَنَّهُ رَمَى امْرَأَةً لَهُ بِحَجَرٍ فَمَاتَتْ فَتَتَبَّعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِتَبُوكَ فَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعْقِلُهَا وَلَا تَرِثُهَا»

✧ He threw a stone at a wife of his, and she died. He followed the Messenger of God ﷺ to Tabuk and told him his story. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him, “You pay her blood money, and you do not inherit from her.”
