حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «سَيَكُونُ أَقْوَامٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَتَعَاطَوْنَ فُقَهَاؤُهُمْ عُضُلَ الْمَسَائِلِ أُولَئِكَ شِرَارُ أُمَّتِي»

Translation

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "There will be peoples from my Ummah whose jurists engage in complex questions. Those are the worst of my Ummah."
