✧ I said: “O Messenger of Allah, my land is a land of hunting.” He said: “When you send your trained dog and invoke Allah’s name, eat what the dog holds for you. If it kills and eats from it, do not eat, for it has only held it for itself. When you send your dog and invoke the name, and other dogs you did not invoke over mix with it, do not eat, for you do not know which of them killed it.” I said: “O Messenger of Allah, I shoot game and it disappears from me for a night.” He said: “If you find your arrow in it and nothing else, eat it.””
