حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةُ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ نَفِيسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ فِي الْوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ وَلَسْتُ مَعَهُمْ إِنَّمَا جِئْتُ مَعَ أَبِي وَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ الَّتِي سَمِعْتُمُ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ

✧ I was among the delegation that came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from ʿAbd al-Qays, but I was not with them; I only came with my father. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking from the vessels that you have heard of: al-dubbaʾ, al-hantam, al-naqir, and al-muqayyar.
