أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ

أَصَبْنَا غَنَمًا لِلْعَدُوِّ فَانْتَهَبْنَاهَا فَنَصَبْنَا قُدُورَنَا فَمَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْقُدُورِ فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُكْفِئَتْ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ النُّهْبَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ»

✧ We captured sheep belonging to the enemy and plundered them. We set up our cooking pots, and the Prophet ﷺ passed by the cooking pots and ordered them to be overturned. Then he said: "Verily plunder is not permissible."
