حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ فَتَّانَ الْقَبْرِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ أَيَرُدُّ عُقُولُنَا عَلَيْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَعَمْ كَهَيْأَتِكُمُ الْيَوْمَ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بِفِيهِ الْحَجَرُ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the two trialers of the grave. ʿUmar b. al-Khattab said, "Will our minds be returned to us, O Messenger of God?" The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Yes, just as you are today." ʿUmar said, "Then stone in his mouth!" (i.e., he was silenced).
