حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ سَبْعُ رِجَالٍ فَأَخَذَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَجُلًا وَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» قَالَ أَبُو غَزْوَانَ قَالَ فَحَلَبَ لَهُ سَبْعَ شِيَاهٍ فَشَرِبَ لَبَنَهَا كُلَّهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «هَلْ لَكَ يَا أَبَا غَزْوَانَ أَنْ تُسْلِمَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ فَأَسْلَمَ فَمَسَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَدْرَهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ حَلَبَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَاةً وَاحِدَةً فَلَمْ يُتِمَّ لَبَنَهَا فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ يَا أَبَا غَزْوَانَ؟» فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ نَبِيًّا لَقَدْ رَوِيتُ قَالَ «إِنَّكَ أَمْسِ كَانَ لَكَ سَبْعَةُ أَمْعَاءٍ وَلَيْسَ لَكَ الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا وَاحِدٌ»

✧ Seven men came to the Prophet ﷺ, and each man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ took one man, and the Prophet ﷺ took one man. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Abu Ghazwan.” He said: He milked seven sheep for him, and he drank all their milk. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, “Would you like, O Abu Ghazwan, to become Muslim?” He said, “Yes,” and he became Muslim. The Prophet ﷺ wiped his chest. When morning came, the Prophet ﷺ milked a single sheep for him, and he did not finish its milk. He said, “What is the matter with you, O Abu Ghazwan?” He said, “By the One who sent you as a prophet, I have drunk my fill.” He said, “Yesterday you had seven intestines, and today you have only one.”
