حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنَامَ «اللهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَىءٍ وَإِلَهَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَقْرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي إِثْمًا أَوْ أَرُدَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to say when he wanted to sleep: “O God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Lord of everything and God of everything, I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger—and the angels bear witness. O God, I seek refuge in You from Satan and his association, and I seek refuge in You from bringing upon myself a sin or turning it back upon a Muslim.”
