حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ
أَصَبْنَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ غَنَمًا فَانْتَهَبَهَا النَّاسُ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقُدُورُهُمْ تَغْلِي فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالُوا نُهْبَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «أكْفِئُوها فَإِنَّ النُّهْبَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ فَكَفَئُوا مَا بَقِيَ فِيهَا»
Translation

✧ We captured sheep on the day of Khaybar, and the people plundered them. The Prophet ﷺ came while their cooking pots were boiling. He said: "What is this?" They said: "Plunder, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Overturn them, for plunder is not permissible." So they overturned what remained in them.
