حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا رَبَاحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اعْتَكَفَ وَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَيَعْلَمُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِمَا يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ وَلَا يَجْهَرْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ secluded himself and addressed the people, saying, "Indeed, when one of you stands in prayer, he is conversing with his Lord, so let each of you know what he is conversing with his Lord about, and let not one of you pronounce his recitation in prayer loudly over another."
