حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَقْطَعَ الزُّبَيْرَ حَضَرَ فَرَسِهِ بِأَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا ثَرِيرَةٌ فَأَجْرَى فَرَسَهُ حَتَّى قَامَ ثُمَّ رَمَى سَوْطَهُ فَقَالَ «أَعْطُوهُ حَيْثُ بَلَغَ سَوْطُهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ allotted to al-Zubayr the run of his horse in a land called Tharira. He let his horse run until it stopped, then threw his whip and said: "Give him as far as his whip reached."
