وَعَنِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ بِحَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِنَا وَلَا نَدْرِي مَا حَجَّةُ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَطِيبًا فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ فَأَطْنَبَ فِي ذِكْرِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَا بَعَثَ اللهُ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَنْذَرَ أُمَّتَهُ الدَّجَّالَ لَقَدْ أَنْذَرَهُ نُوحٌ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَإِنَّهُ يَخْرُجُ فِيكُمْ فَمَا خَفِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ فَلَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْكُمْ أَنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ عَيْنِ الْيُمْنَى كَأَنَّهَا عِنَبَةٌ طَافِيَةٌ»

✧ We were talking about the Farewell Pilgrimage while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was among us, but we did not know what the Farewell Pilgrimage was. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood as a preacher, praised and extolled Allah, then mentioned the false messiah, the Dajjal, and expounded at length about him. Then he said: “Allah has not sent any prophet except that he warned his nation of the Dajjal. Noah warned of him, and the prophets after him. He will emerge among you, and if any of his affairs is unclear to you, it should not be unclear that he is one-eyed in the right eye, as if it is a floating grape.”
