حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السُّرُحِ قَالَا ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ عَلِيٌّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا عَلِيُّ سَيَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي قَوْمٌ يَنْتَحِلُونَ حُبَّنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ لَهُمْ نَبَزٌ يُسَمَّوْنَ الرَّافِضَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ مُشْرِكُونَ»

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ and ʿAli was with him. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'O ʿAli, there will be among my community a people who claim love for us, the People of the House. They will have a nickname and be called the Rafidah. Kill them, for they are polytheists.'
