حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا فِي النَّاسِ مِثْلُ رَجُلٍ أَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَيَحْبِسُ شَرَّهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَمِثْلُ رَجُلٍ بَادٍ فِي نِعْمَةٍ يُقْرِي بِضَيْفِهِ وَيُعْطِي حَقَّهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among the people there is none like a man who takes hold of his horse's head, striving in the path of Allah and restraining his evil from people; and like a man in the desert with livestock who honors his guest and gives him his due."
