حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِرِّيتِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَوْمًا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَبَدَتِ النُّجُومُ وَعَلِقَ النَّاسُ يُنَادُونَهُ الصَّلَاةَ وَفِي الْقَوْمِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ تَمِيمٍ يُنَادِي فَقَالَ
ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ تُعَلِّمُنِي بِالسُّنَّةِ لَا أُمَّ لَكَ إِنِّي شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْعَصْرِ وَالظُّهْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَوَافَقَهُ

✧ Ibn ʿAbbas: "You are teaching me the Sunnah? May you be bereft of your mother! I witnessed the Messenger of God ﷺ combine ʿasr with zuhr and maghrib with ʿisha. Then I met Abu Hurayra and he agreed with him."
