حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ

ثنا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيُّ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «كَانَ عِدَّةُ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ ثَلَاثَمِائَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ وَكَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ نَيِّفًا وَسِتِّينَ رَجُلًا وَكَانَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ مِائَتَيْنِ وَسِتَّةً وَثَلَاثِينَ رَجُلًا وَكَانَ صَاحِبُ رَايَةِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ مْ وَصَاحِبُ رَايَةِ الْأَنْصَارِ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ ؓ »

✧ Abu Malik al-Janbi narrated to us from al-Hajjaj from al-Hakam from Miqsam from Ibn Abbas who said: "The number of the people of Badr was three hundred and thirteen. The Emigrants were sixty-odd men, and the Helpers were two hundred and thirty-six men. The bearer of the banner of the Emigrants was ʿAli b. Abi Talib ؓ, and the bearer of the banner of the Helpers was Saʿd b. ʿUbadah ؓ."
