حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ شَبِيبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْخَلَاءَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَإِذَا تَوْرٌ مُغَطًّى قَالَ «مَنْ صَنَعَ هَذَا؟» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَنَا قَالَ «اللهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ تَأْوِيلَ الْقُرْآنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the privy, then came out, and there was a covered vessel of water. He said, 'Who did this?' 'Abdullah said, 'I did.' He said, 'O Allah, teach him the interpretation of the Qur'an.'
