حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ عَلِيَّ فِي نِعْمَةِ أَهْلٍ وَلَا مَالٍ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَلَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُهُ وَلَكِنْ أُخُوَّةُ الْإِسْلَامِ أَوِ الْإِيمَانِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No one among the people has been more excellent to me in the blessing of family and wealth than Abu Bakr. If I were to take a close friend, I would take him, but there is the brotherhood of Islam or faith.'
