حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ} قَالَ «هِيَ رُؤْيَا رَآهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ وَلَيْسَتْ بِرُؤْيَا مَنَامٍ»

Translation

✧ In His saying {And We appointed not the vision which We showed thee but as a trial for mankind}, He said, "It is a vision that the Prophet ﷺ saw on the night of his ascension, and it is not a dream."
