حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ ثنا سَمُرَةُ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ثنا حُسَامُ بْنُ مِصَكٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا بُرَيْدَةُ سَتَكُونُ بُعُوثٌ فَعَلَيْكَ بِبَعْثِ خُرَاسَانَ ثُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِمَدِينَةِ مَرْوٍ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُصِيبُ أَهْلَهَا سُوءٌ لِأَنَّ ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ بَنَاهَا»

  5. ʿAbdullāh b. Buraydah from his father

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O Buraydah, there will be expeditions. You must join the expedition of Khurasan, then you must go to the city of Marw, for no harm will befall its people because Dhu al-Qarnayn built it.”
