حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا قُدَامَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خُطْبَةً أَسْمَعَ الْعَوَاتِقَ فِي خُدُورِهِنَّ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمَانُ قَلْبَهُ لَا تُؤْذُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَتَّبِعْ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ يَتَّبِعِ اللهُ عَوْرَتَهُ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعِ اللهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ وَلَوْ فِي جَوْفِ بَيْتِهِ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon that made the young women in their chambers hear it, and he said: "O company of those who have submitted with their tongues but faith has not entered their hearts! Do not harm the believers, and do not pursue their faults, for whoever pursues the fault of his brother, Allah will pursue his fault, and whoever Allah pursues his fault, He will expose him, even if he is in the interior of his house."
