حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ خَوْفٍ وَلَا مَطَرٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ لِمَ تُرَاهُ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ أَرَادَ التَّوْسِعَةَ عَلَى أُمَّتِهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Zuhr and 'Asr, and Maghrib and 'Isha' in Madinah without fear or rain. I said to Ibn 'Abbas, 'Why do you think he did that?' He said, 'He wanted to make things easy for his community.'
