حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the two ʿĪd prayers: in the first rakʿah, the Opening of the Book and “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,” and in the second, the Opening of the Book and “Has there come to you the report of the Overwhelming?”
