حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَسِيَ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ فَذَكَرَ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ النَّهَارُ أَدْخَلَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا» فَصَلَّاهَا بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forgot the Ẓuhr and ʿAṣr prayers on the day of the Confederates. He remembered after Maghrib, and the Prophet ﷺ said, “They distracted us from the prayer until the day departed. May Allah fill their graves with fire.” Then he prayed them after Maghrib.
