حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَرْجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَقِيءُ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “The likeness of the one who takes back his gift is like the likeness of the dog that vomits then returns to its vomit.”
