حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَطَّارُ عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا وَيُحْدِثُونَ الْبِدَعَ» قَالَ فَكَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ إِنْ أَدْرَكْتُهُمْ؟ قَالَ «تَسْأَلُنِي ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ؟ لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَنْ عَصَى اللهَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "There will be rulers over you who delay the prayer beyond its times and introduce innovations." He [Ibn Masʿūd] said, "What should I do if I live to see them?" He replied, "You ask me, O son of Umm ʿAbd, what you should do? There is no obedience to one who disobeys Allah."
