حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ» قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّ عُرَى الْإِيمَانِ أَوْثَقُ؟» قُلْتُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ «الْوَلَايَةُ فِي اللهِ وَالْحُبُّ فِي اللهِ وَالْبُغْضُ فِي اللهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Ibn Mas'ud." I said, "At your service," three times. He said, "Do you know which bond of faith is most firm?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Alliance for the sake of Allah, love for the sake of Allah, and hatred for the sake of Allah."
