حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا ثَوْبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَرُوبَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَابِسٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحْنَا أَنْ نَقُولَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to instruct us, when we began the prayer, to say: 'Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. Blessed is Your name and exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god but You.'
