حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ الْخُشَنِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْحَرَشِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ عَنْ أَبَانَ يَعْنِي الْعَطَّارَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يُبْعَثُ مُنَادٍ عِنْدَ حَضْرَةِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَيَقُولُ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قُومُوا فَأَطْفِئُوا عَنْكُمْ مَا أَوْقَدْتُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَيَقُومُونَ فَيَتَطَهَّرُونَ وَتَسْقُطُ خَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ أَعْيُنِهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا ثُمَّ يُوقِدُونَ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْأُولَى نَادَى يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قُومُوا فَأَطْفِئُوا مَا أَوْقَدْتُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَيَقُومُونَ فَيَتَطَهَّرُونَ وَيُصَلُّونَ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الْمَغْرِبُ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الْعَتَمَةُ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَيَنَامُونَ وَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَمُدْلِجٌ فِي خَيْرٍ وَمُدْلِجٌ فِي شَرٍّ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said: "A caller is sent at the time of every prayer and says: O children of Adam, arise and extinguish what you have kindled upon yourselves. So they arise, purify themselves, and their sins fall from their eyes. They pray, and they are forgiven for what is between the two prayers. Then they kindle again in between. When the first prayer comes, he calls: O children of Adam, arise and extinguish what you have kindled upon yourselves. So they arise, purify themselves, pray, and they are forgiven for what is between the two prayers. When the afternoon prayer comes, the same, and when the sunset prayer comes, the same, and when the night prayer comes, the same. Then they sleep, having been forgiven." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "So one travels in the night for good and one travels in the night for evil."
