حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجِيزِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ؛ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنَ النَّارِ، فَيُقَالُ: هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَكَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Translation

✧ When one of you dies, his seat is shown to him morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, then from Paradise; and if he is one of the people of the Fire, then from the Fire. And it is said: This is your seat until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, resurrects you to it on the Day of Resurrection.
