حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْمُقْرِي الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْبَلْخِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى الْقَارِئُ، عَنْ مُفَضَّلِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّكُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي مِنْ آخِرِكُمْ وَفَاةً، أَلَا وَإِنِّي أَوَّلُكُمْ وَفَاةً، وَتَتْبَعُونِي أَفْنَادًا، أَيَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ
