وَبِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِيهِ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَا مِنَ اللهِ، قِيلَ: وَمَا هُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: حِلْمٌ يُرَدُّ بِهِ جَهْلُ جَاهِلٍ، وَحُسْنُ خُلُقٍ يَعِيشُ بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ، وَوَرَعٌ يَحْجِزُهُ عَنْ مَعَاصِي اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh Ṣallá Allāh ʿAlayh Wālih and Sallam

✧ Three things, whoever does not have them is not from me nor from Allah. It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Forbearance by which the ignorance of an ignorant person is repelled, good character by which he lives among people, and piety that restrains him from disobeying Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
