حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُؤَدِّبُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ:

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، مَنْ أُصِيبَ مِنْكُمْ بِمُصِيبَةٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَلْيَتَعَزَّ بِمُصِيبَتِهِ بِي عَنْ مُصِيبَتِهِ الَّتِي تُصِيبُهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُصَابَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بَعْدِي بِمِثْلِ مُصِيبَتِهِ بِي

✧ The Prophet ﷺ turned to the people and said: O people, whoever of you is afflicted by a calamity after me, let him seek consolation in his calamity through me from the calamity that befalls him, for no one of my Ummah after me will be afflicted with the like of the calamity of losing me.
