حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى الْكَاتِبُ الْوَزِيرُ، مُذَاكَرَةً، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ، عَنْ هُذَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ أُتِيَ فِي ابْنَةٍ، وَابْنَةِ ابْنٍ، وَأُخْتٍ لِأَبٍ وَأُمٍّ، فَقَالَ: لَأَقْضِيَنَّ بَيْنَهُمْ بِقَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: لِلِابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ، وَلِابْنَةِ الِابْنِ السُّدُسُ، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلْأُخْتِ مِنَ الْأَبِ وَالْأُمِّ

✧ It was reported from ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd ؓ that he was asked about a daughter, a son’s daughter, and a full sister (from the same father and mother). He said: “I will judge among them with the judgment of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ: the daughter receives half, the son’s daughter receives one-sixth, and what remains goes to the full sister.”
