حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَارَكِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

الْعَجْمَاءُ جُبَارٌ وَقَضَى فِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسَ

Translation

✧ Injury caused by a beast is without liability, and he ruled that one-fifth is due on buried treasure.
