✧ Anas b. Malik showed me ablution. He took a small water skin and placed it on his left side, and poured water onto his right hand and washed it three times. Then he moved the water skin to his right hand and performed ablution washing each part three times, and wiped his head three times. He took fresh water for his ear canals and wiped them. I said to him, "You have wiped your ears?" He said, "O boy, they are part of the head, not part of the face." Then he said, "O boy, did you see and understand, or should I repeat for you?" I said, "It is sufficient for me, and I have understood." He said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution."
