حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ أَبُو مَعْنٍ الْهَوْجِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ، أُلْجِمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ

Translation

✧ Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it will be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with a bridle of fire.
