حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ [ زُهَيْرٍ ] التُّسْتَرِيُّ أَبُو حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ أَبُو حَمَّادٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيَّاجِ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ:

بَعَثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَ: أَتَدْرِي عَلَى مَا أَبْعَثُكَ ؟ أَبْعَثُكَ عَلَى مَا بَعَثَنِي عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: لَا تَدَعْ تِمْثَالًا إِلَّا كَسَرْتَهُ وَلَا قَبْرًا مُسَنَّمًا إِلَّا سَوَّيْتَهُ

✧ Ali b. Abi Talib sent me and said, "Do you know on what mission I am sending you? I am sending you on the mission on which the Messenger of God ﷺ sent me: Do not leave any image but that you efface it, and no raised grave but that you level it."
