حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مِنِ اقْتِرَابِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُرَى الْهِلَالُ قَبَلًا، فَيُقَالُ: لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ، وَأَنْ تُتَّخَذَ الْمَسَاجِدُ طُرُقًا، وَأَنْ يَظْهَرَ مَوْتُ الْفُجَاءَةِ

✧ Among the signs of the Hour’s approach is that the new moon will be seen in advance and it will be said, “It is for two nights,” that mosques will be used as thoroughfares, and that sudden death will appear.
