حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيِّبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ قَالَ:

ذُكِرَ فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَسْفٌ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يُخْسَفُ بِأَرْضٍ فِيهَا الْمُسْلِمُونَ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِذَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا الْخُبُثَ

✧ In the time of the Prophet ﷺ, a sinking of the earth was mentioned toward the east. Some of the people said: 'O Messenger of God, will an earth in which there are Muslims be swallowed up?' He said: 'Yes, when most of its inhabitants are wicked.'
