حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، ثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ النَّخَعِيُّ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُحَجَّلِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ مَقَامِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمُرِي آخِرَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِي رِضْوَانَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ

✧ My standing place was between the shoulders of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he said the salam, he would say: 'O Allah, make the best of my life its end; O Allah, make the seal of my deeds Your good pleasure; O Allah, make the best of my days the day I meet You.'
