✧ We went out with the women with whom we had contracted temporary marriage, until we came to the mountain pass of al-Rikāb. We said: “O Messenger of God, these are the women with whom we contracted temporary marriage.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “They are unlawful until the Day of Resurrection.” So they bade us farewell at that place, and it was named the Farewell Pass. Before that it was only the Pass of al-Rikāb.
