حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ الْمِصْرِيُّ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ:
دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتُمْ ؟ فَقُلْنَا: مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، قَالَتْ: أَنْتُمُ الَّذِينَ تَشْتُمُونَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: مَا عَلِمْتُ أَحَدًا شَتَمَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، قَالَتْ: بَلْ تَلْعَنُونَ عَلِيًّا وَمَنْ يُحِبُّهُ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ يُحِبُّهُ

✧ We entered upon Umm Salamah, and she said, 'Where are you from?' We said, 'From the people of Kufah.' She said, 'Are you the ones who revile the Prophet ﷺ?' I said, 'I do not know anyone who has reviled the Prophet ﷺ.' She said, 'Rather, you curse 'Ali and those who love him, and the Messenger of Allah used to love him.'
