حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ، ثَنَا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ وَالْقَمَرُ طَالِعٌ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتُعَايِنُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا تُعَايِنُونَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ، لَا تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا "، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night while the moon was rising on the night of the full moon. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, you will see your Lord in Paradise just as you see this moon; you will not be harmed in seeing Him. So if you are able not to be overcome and miss the prayer before sunrise and before sunset, then do so." Then he recited: "And glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting."
