حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَعْوَرِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ. عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ " يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ إِذَا تَغَشَّى النُّورُ السَّمَاءَ، وَالظَّهْرَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَالْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ، وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ، وَيُؤَخِّرُ الْعِشَاءَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ would pray the morning prayer when light spread across the sky, the noon prayer when the sun declined, the afternoon prayer while the sun was white and clear, the sunset prayer when the fasting person broke his fast, and he would delay the evening prayer.
