حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ. عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَلْتَفِتُ إِذَا مَشَى، وَكَانَ رُبَّمَا تَعَلَّقَ رِدَاؤُهُ فِي الشَّجَرَةِ أَوِ الشَّيْءِ فَلَا يَلْتَفِتُ حَتَّى يَرْفَعُوهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَكَانُوا يَضْحَكُونَ وَيَمْزَحُونَ، وَكَانُوا قَدْ أَمِنُوا الْتِفَاتَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not turn around when he walked. Sometimes his cloak would get caught on a tree or something, and he would not turn around until they lifted it off him. They used to laugh and joke, and they were safe from him turning around.
