حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ، ثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَارٍ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ، مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطٌ، وَمَنْ تَبِعَهَا حَتَّى تُغَيَّبَ كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ، أَصْغَرُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ

Translation

✧ Whoever follows a funeral until he prays over it will have a qirat, and whoever follows it until it is buried will have two qirats, the smaller of which is like Mount Uhud.
